Remote Support
If you contact our office for phone support, our consultants may ask you to download a support tool which allows them to view your computer and assist you remotely.
Choosing PeaceWorks for your IT support means that you will be assigned a consistent primary consultant to work with you. It is not always feasible, nor cost-effective, for your consultant to always be on-site at your place of employment. However, since we understand that computer issues may occur at any given moment, we need to ensure that your consultant has remote access to your systems. In many cases, your consultant will use a secure, password-protected application to access your systems and correct the issues from his or her current location, whenever possible.
Managed Service Provider (MSP) Clients
Clients with a managed services agreement will have a licensed software agent installed on each computer (desktop/laptop/virtual server) running Windows, Linux or Mac operating systems. It will assist us in monitoring the health of your environment and provide us with the ability to manage many support activities remotely. This agent will also allow us to apply regular maintenance to your major software components (Windows, Linux) to ensure that your environment is regularly updated with software vendor security updates.
